In the good (canon) ending, Natalia is acting like she was possessed by Alex Wesker. She is reading from Kafka and gives a rather creepy smile. Now, the RE wiki seems to have written her off as being completely possessed by Alex, but I’m not so sure for a number of reasons.

What happened to Moira after Resident Evil: Revelations 2?
In the bad ending, if Claire manages to kill Neil, Moira dies after being crushed by falling debris during the tower’s destruction. Alex squeezes Natalia to death, only to re-awaken as Dark Natalia (imbued with Alex consciousness) and easily destroy her former, mutated body.
Why is Moira afraid of guns?
At some point in her life, Moira suffered a traumatic event that left her afraid to handle firearms which is revealed when she accidentally shoots Polly in the house. Because of the accident, she and Barry’s relationship became soured and growing distant.
